Au ramas mai putin de 3 saptamani pana la deschiderea oficiala a celei de-a III-a editii a simpozionului international de implantologie orala "Implants Connected to Nature 2011", ce va avea loc in Timisoara - 22 -24 septembrie - si dorim sa va comunicam programul actualizat al evenimentului:

Stimati colegi, Rezonanta extrem de pozitiva a editiilor anterioare ale simpozionului international de implantologie "Implants Connected to Nature" ne-a determinat sa continuam si sa imbunatatim un concept stiintific, educational si social de succes: lectori de inalta reputatie internationala vor tine prelegeri alaturi de tineri implantologi in afirmare din Romania, tehnicienii dentari vor urmari demonstratii practice de protezare pe implante, firme din domeniul implantologiei dentare vor prezenta produse de interes si vor organiza cursuri hands-on iar intr-una din seri ne vom relaxa impreuna cu Dvs. intr-un club privat select din Timisoara. Toate acestea pe parcursul a 3 zile dedicate integral breslei noastre, evolutiei profesionale si schimburilor de experinta, Va urez de pe acum "bun venit" in Timisoara, al cel mai select simpozion al anului dedicat implantologiei orale. Programul de tehnica dentara - in parteneriat cu Universitatea Zürich
Medicii si tehnicienii dentari prezenti la editiile congresului din anii anteriori au solicitat cursuri practice specializate pentru protetica implantologica. La aceasta editie se vor prezenta si discuta toate solutiile protetice pe implante, inclusiv cu sesiune de intrebari si raspunsuri.
Suntem onorati sa-l avem alaturi de noi pentru 2 zile pe maestru tehnician dentar ZTM Vincent FEHMER, sef laborator de tehnica dentara al Clinicii de Protetica si Stiinta Materialelor Stomatologice (sub conducerea Prof. Dr. Christoph Hämmerle) din cadrul Universitatii din ZÜRICH, Elvetia.

Personal Introduction: Hom-Lay Wang, DDS., MSD., Ph D, Collegiate Professor of Periodontics, Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Wang received his DDS from Taipei Medical College, Taipei, Taiwan, DDS, MSD from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and Ph D from Hiroshima University, Japan. He also serves as a Research advisor for Eng. A.B. Research Chair for Growth Factors and Bone Regeneration, King Saud University Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He published 20 book chapters/invited reviews and more than 200 scientific articles. Dr. Wang is a Co-Chair, Director and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a President, Board Director and Diplomate of the ICOI and a Fellow of American College of Dentists. He serves as an Associate Editor for The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants, eJournal of Oral & Maxillofacial Research, and International Chinese Journal of Dentistry and Assistant Editor for the Implant Dentistry, Editorial Board member for the Journal of Periodontology, Clinical Oral Implants Research, International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Clinical Periodontolog, Journal of Osteology and Biomaterials and many others. After graduation in 1985 at the University of Freiburg/ Germany Dr. Paul did postgraduate training in Operative Dentistry, Periodontology and Fixed Prosthodontics before joining the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of Zurich (Prof. Dr. P. Schärer, MS) in 1991. From 1997 until 1999 Dr. Paul served as Director of the Center for Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. In 2000 Dr. Paul received his dental licence for the State of California/USA. In 2000 Dr. Paul earned a degree as "Privatdozent" from the University of Zurich and was an appointed lecturer until 2009. Since 2009 Dr. Paul continues his teaching assignment at the University of Freiburg/Germany. Since August 2002 Dr. Paul is maintaining a private practice in the heart of Zurich/Switzerland dedicated to implantology, esthetic fixed and removable prosthodontics. Since 2007 Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery (Dr. Antje Paul) and Orthodontics (Dr. Thomas Drechsler) are additional specialties offered in our modern, fully digitalized dental office. Dr. Paul's clinical work includes implantology, allceramic restorations and complex esthetic dentistry. Many publications accompany the clinical and research activities. He is both a nationally and internationally active lecturer on prosthodontics and implantology. ABSTRACT Advanced implant rehabilitation I: Restorative treatment concepts: Esthetics-Navigation-Immediate loading and CAD/CAM Computer-guided implantology enables the clinician to evaluate bony morphology for placement of dental implants with a high degree of accuracy and with 3-dimensional views. Precise 3-D planning, stereolithographic templates and customized drilling components facilitate optimal implant placement and - in selected cases - allow transmucosal insertion reducing postoperative pain and discomfort for the patient. Implant supported restoration in the anterior maxilla presents a major restorative challenge. The contours and colour of missing teeth may be reproduced using a variety of materials and techniques. Many treatment protocols have been developed attempting to achieve optimal aesthetic outcome. Immediate placement with simultaneous grafting procedures allows the optimal preservation of local osseous and gingival structures. Delayed or late concepts utilizing bone grafts and membranes are well documented in the literature and have widened/enlarged the armamentarium of the clinician. Soft tissue grafting, tissue shaping and new pouch techniques represent useful concepts to optimize the aesthetic outcome of implant rehabilitation in the anterior maxilla in single tooth and multiple implant cases. The objective of this presentation is to demonstrate restorative treatment concepts for edentulous and partial edentulous patients focusing on exact treatment sequences (protocols) from planning including appropriate software to surgical implementation and final prosthetic rehabilitation. |
